Many of the old wooden hydroplanes from the glory days of racing are gone, left to rot in fields or barns after their racing days were over. Many still exist, but need restoration before they can run on the American Power Boat Association Vintage and Historic Division's ever-growing circuit of exhibitions at speed.

TWO SEATER HYDROPLANES

 

The latest and most exciting Lauterbach design is the two seater hydroplane. These beautiful pleasure boats are being built for those wishing to enjoy the thrill of a high speed pleasure boat with a passenger along for the ride.

Today, Lauterbach Custom Boats is located on Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore. In this state of the art facility, the same great Lauterbach designs are utilized for today's new boats and restorations. The flawless attention to detail is visible in every boat that comes out of the Lauterbach shop.

New hydroplanes are produced for use in active racing.

Two-seater hydroplanes, the newest Lauterbach design, are being built for those wishing to enjoy the thrill of a high speed pleasure boat with a passenger along for the ride.
